What does increasing the Mach Crit means? I know that Mach Crit is when a part of the aircraft reaches Mach 1 and the rest is subsonic. But I don’t get why does Mach Crit have to be increased? Let’s say the Mach Crit is 1.0, if you increase it then it would be 1.2 then?
